Description of bug

MultiMC version: MultiMC 5 Version 0.7.0-3849 on osx64-5.15.2
MacOS: MacOS version 14.4.1, with the M1 chip

I just installed MultiMC on my Macbook and it says it needs to update so I pressed update and it loads all the assets and then it gives an error " The new version didn't start or is too old and doesn't respond to startup checks." I can't even connect to my Microsoft account because it hasn't updated to the latest version of MultiMC

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install MultiMC for MacOS on the website
  2. After setting up MultiMC it will ask to update
  3. Press update and it load assets and then fail. A window pops up saying " The new version didn't start or is too old and doesn't respond to startup checks."
