An RPC Orchestration Service is created such that: Request Sequence: Client --> PORT9000 --> PORT9001--> PORT10000 Response Sequence: Client <-- PORT9000 <-- PORT9001 <-- PORT10000
Directions for installing the gRPC dependencies: Install all dependencies by running "make install" in the terminal OR by following the below steps:
- Ensure pip is updated -> python -m pip install --upgrade pip
- Install gRPC using pip by running -> python -m pip install grpcio
- Next, install the grpc tools required by running -> python -m pip install grpcio-tools Note: Further details to getting started with gRPC with python available at - https://grpc.io/docs/languages/python/quickstart/
Directions for executing the service:
- Copy the directory to your computer as is
- Start the servers one by one in your terminal windows, starting with server_9000.py
- Start server_9001.py
- Start dummy-server.py located in /datamock/ (this will serve and return the User objected generated from user's name)
- Finally start client.py and answer the query which pops up
There will be a distinguishable message on each terminal indicating how the message is propogated/orchestrated
