640x480 and 800x600 resolution support on rk3399

Hi Kwiboo.

currently armbian doesnt support 640x480 neither 800x600 for rk3399 sbcs... and
we made an armbian desktop/gaming custom distro to allow wine x86 to run with box86.
the thing is that most games are very low res and play them on a window its not the greatest experience at all.

maybe you copuld give as a hint on what could be done. thanks in advance

I would add 1680x1050 too. I am trying to set up a rockpro64 (RK3399) and cannot use a DELL monitor with such resolution. Sometimes the HDMI output is not detected at all, when it is the display is all distorted and trembling. In this case the monitor reports 1400x1050@55Hz, that is a very weird choice.

The funny fact is that RK3399 appears to work perfectly with that monitor as long as the u-boot output is displayed.
