TeleScupltor crashes when attempting to color a sparse point cloud using an image from a manually calibrated camera. To reproduce, one could use the project/data in Load a project /videonas/other/data_working/KHQ_Construction/2017-07-14/GOPR0369:

  • start TS and load the project KHQ.frm.conf
  • make sure sparse.trm.ply is loaded as a (faceless) mesh
  • in the GCP, expand one of the points and double-click on a frame, e.g. 320
  • calibrate a camera from the camera view
  • color mesh using current image
  • get a core dump with the following trace tail:
INFO - Initialize camera and image list: frame 320
DEBUG - reading image from file "/data/KHQ/20190714/202103/frames/000320.jpg"
    INFO - Generating normals ...
    Segmentation fault (core dumped) bin/TeleSculptor
