Shell 45: Search box loses focus when mouse moves over any other element

The search box loses focus when the mouse moves over any other element of the popup.

In addition, when the popup's opening animation moves it in such a way that the mouse cursor crosses between two history items, the search box immediately loses focus as well.

Focus not being consistent makes it difficult to control the extension with the keyboard.
