GLIMPSE is a graphical users interface for GCAM. Please see this poster for more information about GLIMPSE:
The EPA’s GLIMPSE team will be providing a series of hands-on, virtual trainings in July and August.
The trainings, which will be on Tuesday afternoons from 3-4 (US Eastern time), will be recorded. If you would like to follow along, we recommend having completed the tutorials in the GLIMPSE Users’ Guide prior to participating in these sessions.
Participants that have downloaded and installed GLIMPSE will be able to follow along.
If you need the GLIMPSE download link, please email Dan Loughlin at Loughlin.Dan@epa.gov.
Topics and registration links for the trainings are provided below. Trainings are cumulative; for example, scenarios developed on July 23rd will be evaluated in subsequent weeks. This set of trainings is geared toward those interested in simulating and evaluating U.S. state-specific mitigation measures, although the trainings may be of interest to a more general audience as well.
July 23rd – Representing greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction measures in GCAM using GLIMPSE (Register)
July 30th – Assessing the technology and GHG impacts of the modeled GHG reduction measures (Register)
August 6th – Evaluating air pollutant co-reductions from GHG mitigation measures (Register)
August 13th – Translating GLIMPSE air pollutant emissions into air quality and health impacts using EPA’s COBRA tool (Register)
August 20th – Q&A and/or special topics (Register)
