There are some cases in which a sorting criteria might be useful. For example: see the screenshot in the last section

In the screenshot below we are filtering by month. The month names appear in the order that they are provided in the data itself. Although in this case it makes sense for them to be ordered by the chronological order of the months in a year. There are probably many other cases where users might want to sort the filters by a criteria rather than just show everything as-is in a list, so I consider this feature will improve the user experience.
