I uploaded a list of 119 human genes into the online GeneMANIA interface. The default network view shows far fewer nodes than 119 (figure below).
I then downloaded the network and interactions from the website and imported the network into Cytoscape. The resulting network has 138 nodes (presumably the 119 I entered + some strong interactions). Ignore the layout and colour-coding of nodes/edges - I customized those.
Just wondering why the networks look different. It's puzzling to see so few nodes on the screen. If num nodes are deliberately limited, there needs to be a prominent message that indicates it's the case. If there was such a message, it wasn't visible to me.
