A separating gap can be observed on larger global volumes on multiple GPUs, if two local volumes connect in the middle of the screen on the default camera position.
This gap can lead to poor performance and a possible reason is a floating point inaccuracy of the ray casting calculations.

Can be prevented by minimally adjusting the camera angle.
