Currently every downloaded file initiates a print to console. This can slow down skipping of already downloaded files.

newProgressBar inputs refresh rate parameter. Then the rendering runs independently in a separate thread. However, incProgress gives no proper means for appending text to the progress bar on each refresh.
Am I missing something?
